I Know Nigo

Before they were big time rappers and producers, they were Nigo fans. And because of that, they now all share an inseparable bond together. In other words, it’s all love.

This album has brought together a close-knit group who all grew up with his style, from Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, all went on to become firm friends, and creative collaborators. With this in mind, we celebrated the much anticipated “I Know NIGO!” album release by hosting a proper family reunion at the Kelly Wearstler residence in Beverly Hills.

We worked to reimagine the fashion legend’s album artwork in a new way across the space. This meant huge illustrated mallard ducks for Nigo’s custom DJ booth, gorgeous topiary ducks for the entrance, floating ducks for the pool, multiple photo moments, and integration of NIGO’s handwritten signature. Friends and fans were encouraged to snap a polaroid and sign an oversized guest book with notes of support.

DJ Domo provided vibes through-out the night between NIGO sets. Ghetto Gastro pulled up to serve matcha waffles + chicken along with a visit from LA Sorted’s Pizzeria. To amplify the release leading up to the event we animated the album artwork in 1TSQ, giving the ducks the ability to fly across the screen—and blink! Happy Monday supported content capture with a post event BTS video and various content hosted by Kerwin Frost. The highlight of the evening had to be first-time performances of new tracks from the album by NIGO, Pusha T and Pharrell. And of course the classic “Beautiful” serenade.
