The Silk Room
The House of Are & Be has brought some of the most iconic artists to the stage, so it’s only right that they give industry and fans the first sneak peak at Silk Sonic’s long-awaited album with a night that will transport them to the world Bruno Mars & Anderson Paak have created.
In this invite-only event, Spotify transformed The Peppermint Club into The Silk Room - an elevated 70’s club, for a special one night only with Silk Sonic presented by Are & Be. The intimate event gave the industry & fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Silk Sonic lifestyle, find easter eggs for the album, and of course have a sneak peek of the new music. Guests of note included Janelle Monáe, Charlie Puth, Ty Dolla $ign, Ella Mae, Victoria Monet, Little Simz, and Yvonne Orji to name a few.
Inside the experience, guests were treated to a red carpet experience, complete with three custom photo booth moments and signature SelvaRay cocktails as they entered. And the event could not be complete without a special performance from the R&B super duo as Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak took to the stage and performed “Fly as Me”, “777”, “Leave the Door Open”, “Smokin Out the Window” and a soul medley of throwback hits from The Jackson 5 and Mary Jane Girls.
